Isn't the main goal of Christians to preach the gospel and not debate macro evolution?

>>  They should preach the gospel and stop debating macro evolution.

Debating evolution and trying so hard to point out that homosexuality is evil are absolutely evil distractions to the Great Commission. Christians should focus on spreading the good news that Jesus died for their sins to enter eternal life... because so long people believe this, macro evolution won't have any negative influence on a Christian's eternity.

< If debating macro evolution leads to people acknowledging there is a God, then Christians should debate macro evolution.

If people don't believe God exists, how can they preach the gospel?

But if they can do this with theistic evolution (God using macro evolution to create things), then so be it. But once they are Christian, theistic evolution isn't so great. It could be true, but it interferes with the interpretation of the Bible.
