< Genesis says water gushed out from under the earth. It’s possible this was from volcanic activity gushing out hot water.

That’s a good source of water. In fact, if hot water is gushing out, hot water is more larger by volume than cold water (hot water expands) like how hot air expands and is larger by volume than cold air.

"When water is heated it expands. For example, water heated from 90°F to a thermostat setting of 140°F in a 40 gallon hot water heater will expand by almost one-half gallon. This is because when water is heated, its density decreases and its volume expands (see below)."

>> WEAK Grass, flowers, and plants would have been destroyed by the flood, yet they are still around.

So the flood never happened.

< The Flood wouldn't kill seeds.

Even if trees died in the flood, floods can’t kill seeds. If that were the case, every time there would be a big flood, it would be like the Saharan desert. No, it’s not, instead, trees and life form immediately grow after the flood.
Also, trees can survive through winter without food for a long time, which is nearly the period of the flood: 8 months.

>> WEAK Trees should have died in the flood due to the pressure, yet trees still exist.

So the flood never happened.

< The Flood wouldn't kill seeds.

(from another argument)

< Even if with all the pressure, wood, and DNA in plants are still able to survive.

They can survive perhaps like the plants in the bottom of the ocean.

Plants can survive more than 8 months under extreme conditions of no food, similar to how humans can survive up to one (1) month without food.

>> WEAK Trees should have died in the flood, yet older trees still live.

The flood should have killed all the trees, yet some trees have tree rings that says it lived thru the flood. Water covering 30,000 ft (if it covered the most highest mountain) would crush the trees underneath.
[unknown source]

< The Flood wouldn't kill all trees.

Why would a flood kill trees? In Phoenix, we have a lake- it's called Lake Pleasant. The Lake rises and falls depending on the rainfall each year. Meanwhile, trees that are covered depending on the level of the water- you gotta watch for them when you go boating or jet skiing- well, they continue to live. How much you want to bet that trees made it through? Not all, but some.

>> WEAK Gen 7:4 says God killed everything. (Biblical)

That includes trees too.

< STRONG Gen 7:22 says all flesh and everything with breathe in the nostrils died. (Biblical)

Gen 7:21-23 talks about what died in the Flood and it doesn't mention trees or plant life, only animal life.

Also if the plants would have died, then God would have commanded Noah to save the plants for the same reason of saving the animals.

< A dove got a leaf from a tree from a land, proof within the bible that the plants weren’t part of the dying. (Biblical)

So some trees survived or grew.
