< STRONG Because Jesus said so. (Biblical)

Matt 28:19,20  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

< To spread the good news out of their love for others.

Just think. Christians believe that there is a heaven and a hell, and that those who don't accept Jesus as Lord will spend eternity in hell. If they cared about the people around them, then they would want to share their knowledge with them to help save them from that horror (hell). Christians should be evangelizing not only out of obedience to Jesus (see argument above), but out of their own love for others.

< Every one of us has something of high value.

It's intrinsic.
If you've taken philosophy, you'd know what it is.
We are not walking monkeys; we have something that all other animals don't have. That’s why everyone should know about God.

>> To ensure that the Christian faith doesn't die out.

They want more members as the others die.

< That's missing the point.

The Bible never said that.
