< STRONG Getting forgiveness of sins leads to righteousness, which then leads to eternity in the after life, not in the current life. (Biblical)
Paul addresses this question directly:
Rom 5:17 For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
Rom 5:21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Rom 8:10 But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.
Our bodies are dead because of sin, but Christ, dying for our sins, made our spirits alive in Him. Our spirits are living, but our bodies are dead. Therefore, we will die on earth and then receive our perfect bodies in the afterlife.
